1. All 6-8 graders are eligible according to other middle school sports participation guidelines as relates to Academic and student Behavior Standards.
2. No-Cut, Co-Ed program. Everyone plays every match.
3. Players learn basics of strokes production, match, play, scorekeeping, and basic rules.
4. Coaches responsible for creating fair matchups. On court coaching facilitates learning scoring and rules.
5. All matches consist of the current high school’s 6 singles and 3 doubles format.
6. Winner is 1st to 3 games, not required to win by 2, no tie-breaks.
7. $25 Registration through www.swattennis.org under Tennis Programs, includes t-shirt. NO CHILD WILL BE EXCLUDED FOR LACK OF FEE
8. Season is 9/9/2026 – 10/14/2026, Monday and Wednesday.
9. 9/9 Practice/Registration from 4:00 – 5:30.
10. 9/14 – 10/14 Matches start 4:20 within Shenandoah District.
11. ALL Matches at central site, Wilson Memorial HS courts.
12.PARENTS PROVIDE ALL TRANSPORTATION
13.Students learn to play the game – on a team – in advance of high school.
14.Six Week Season starts/ends early in school year. Perfect Weather
